Lana Valeria Montaldi

The Merchant of Lana is the first novel, which debuted Valeria Montaldi.
Set in 1200 in what is now the region of Valle d 'Aosta, this book brings us to accompany his brother Matthew in the long journey through Europe to reach the city of Felik, where it must take a sinister message.
Matthew is a Benedictine monk who lives a quiet life in his monastery, until it offers asylum to a woman wrongly accused of heresy. The
, hide, and brings food, until he sees a brother to turn the monastery and alert the authorities, with the result that this is put to the stake along with Matthew and his dog is expelled from the convent.
One night the poor unfortunate occurs in dreams of the monk, leaving him with a mission: to go to the village of Felik and warn people that if you do not convert their lust for power of a great misfortune will fall across the valley.
We are now left to follow in the footsteps of brother scared that relies on the will of God, having in his career crooks, gangsters, but also a noble person from which will open his heart and confessed his perplexity. A
medieval historical novel without banality and boredom, in fact, I think it is urgent and exciting, especially for the perfect plot of love and adventure.
